Things You'll Need:
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 package macaroni shells
- 1 large can of tomato sauce or fresh Roma tomatoes
- 1 or 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 84 ounces of chicken broth
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
- Pinch of cumin seasoning
- Grated cheddar cheese or any other type of cheese desired

Step 1
Chop up onions and garlic.

Step 2
Heat canola oil on stove top. Add the pasta shells and stir occasionally until they are golden brown. If desired, drain off the excess oil. Remove from heat until the other ingredients are ready.

Step 3
Blend the tomato sauce or fresh tomatoes, garlic and onions together in a blender or food processor. Add to pasta on stove top.

Step 4
Add the chicken stock to the mix and stir in well. Add cayenne, salt and pepper to taste. Turn up heat so it is hot when ready to serve. Cook until the pasta is cooked to taste.

Step 5
Serve with a handful of cheddar cheese on top.
