2. Start looking into what kind of articles tend to earn the most. Medical, home improvement and even money saving articles tend to do well. Focus on these topics so you will optimize the time you spend writing.

3. Keep your articles short. Try to only spend 15 minutes writing articles so that each article only has to earn $2.50, which equates to $10 an hour.

4. Remember that because you will receive residual income, you don't have to make that amount over night. If your article earns $2.50 at some point, then you have met your goal.
