How to fry up delicious pot stickers for your family and friends.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Frying pan or wok
  • peanut or sesame oil
  1. Step 1

    First you will want to put two tablespoons of your choice of oil in to the frying pan or wok for the old fashion Chinese flavor. If you use the sesame oil don't freak out if it starts to smoke a little that's cause of the oil.

  2. Step 2

    If your pot stickers are frozen you will want to add two tbsp's of water to help them defrost and give them juice so their not dry when you eat them.

  3. Step 3

    You will only want to heat the oil for a minute and fry the pot stickers for only about 3 to 6 minutes depending on if their frozen or not. Fry the pot stickers till the get golden brown on the side your cooking on. Add half a cup of water to make the pot stickers steam and cook faster.

  4. Step 4

    Let it steam until the water is all gone, you will start to hear a crackling sound this means that they are browning all over again. Pick them up slowly and turn them over if you would like them browner.

  5. Step 5

    Once thy are done frying serve to your friends and family and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Peanut oil doesn't smoke as much as sesame oil.
  • Don't over fry them.
