  • Bucket
  • Dishwashing soap
  • Warm water
  • Scrub brush
  • Water hose with sprayer
  • Clean rags or shop towels

Instructions

    • 1

      Remove the floor protector from the carpet or other flooring and take it outside to a clean surface like a concrete driveway, patio or other flat surface.

      Fill a bucket with 2 tablespoons of dishwashing soap and 1 gallon of warm water. Agitate the soap solution with a scrub brush.

      Pour the soap solution on the side of the plastic floor protector that contains caked-on grime and dirt.

      Scrub the plastic floor protector with a scrub brush.

      Rinse the floor protector with clean water from a hose.

      Wipe the plastic floor protector dry with a clean rag or shop towel. You could also let it dry naturally by placing the floor protector in a dry location on your patio or driveway.
