How to Clean Eye Glasses of Hair Spray

Spritzing your eye glasses or shades with a little hair spray is easy to do when you're aiming the spray at your hair. Cleaning the hair spray can be frustrating as using water and a towel may not remove it. Fortunately, it's easy enough to create your own cleaning solution that can be used to clean hair spray off of your eye wear.

Things You'll Need

• Rubbing alcohol
• Water
• Bowl
• Cotton ball
• Micro fiber cloth

Instructions

1. Pour a cup of rubbing alcohol and a cup of cold water into a bowl.

2. Mix the solution with a spoon or similar item.

3. Dip a cotton ball into the solution.

4. Wipe the area of the eye glasses covered in hair spray for about 10 to 15 seconds, rubbing in a circular motion to remove any spots.

5. Rinse the eye glasses for 60 seconds under cold water to eliminate all rubbing alcohol from the glasses.

6. Dry the eye glasses with a clean, dry micro fiber cloth.

7. Inspect the eye glasses. If you notice any leftover hair spray, repeat the process.
