How to Use Epson Salt as a Cleanser
Epson salt, also known as magnesium sulfate, is a product that you may already have in your home to help you relax and reduce stress. The salt can also act as a cleanser to cleanse your hair, your colon, as well as your skin. If you are taking medication drugs, consult your physician before using the Epson salt since the salt can negatively interact with certain medications. You should also refrain from using the salt if you are experiencing pain in the abdominal area, nausea or vomiting.

Use the Epson salt as a full body scrub. To do this, you can place some of the salt on a shower mitt or loofah while you are taking a shower. Scrub the salt all over your body in a circular motion to exfoliate dead skin cells. Rinse the salt off of your body after your scrub is complete. The salt can also be placed on the face as an exfoliant to remove dead skin.
