Things You'll Need:
- Wii remote
-
Step 1
Know that a perfect game of 300 requires you to throw 12 strikes--one each in the first nine frames and three in the final, tenth, frame.
-
Step 2
Learn how to properly hold the Wii remote. You should put the remote in your dominant hand with the top (with the controls) facing up and the front (with the sensor) facing the TV screen.
-
Step 3
Use the directional pad on the Wii remote to move your bowler left or right to set up for each throw. Most players who are right-handed have a natural hook, and those who are left-handed have a natural slice. Practice your throws to see which way most of your balls roll, and adjust your Mii character accordingly. The most likely throw to result in a strike is a ball that hooks or slices into the area between the head pin and the second row of pins. A ball that hits the head pin dead on generally results in a split.
-
Step 4
Move the Wii remote in the same fluid motion you would use when rolling an actual bowling ball. Hold the A button down and bring your arm back. Release the A button at the bottom of your swing just as you would release the hold on a bowling ball while swinging in a bowling alley lane. If you release the button too early, you are likely to encounter more spin on the ball, resulting in an errant shot.
