How to Braid Lanyards With Paracord 450
Paracord is a very strong cord that can be used for a variety of survival tasks in nature, such has creating snares or hanging a line to drape cover over. A simple way to bring a substantial amount of paracord is to braid a lanyard out of ten feet of cord.

Fold the paracord in half and slide the keyring over the cord so that it sits about one foot from the bend in the cord.

Grab the loose ends of the cord, and bend them back over the keyring and allow them to hand down on either side of the folded cord. You should have four cords hanging down, with the loose ends on the outside, and the two pieces of cord joined at the fold in the center.

Create a loop with the rightmost cord, and pass the end of the cord over the two center cords.

Pass the leftmost cord over the part of the right cord which crossed over center, behind the center cords, and through the loop on the right side of the center cords, and pull tight.

Create a loop with the leftmost cord, and pass the end of the cord over the two center cords.

Pass the rightmost cord over the part of the left cord which crossed over the center, behind the center cords, and through the loop on the left side of the center cords, and pull tight.

Repeat Steps 3 through 6 until all of the remaining cord has been braided, then tie off the ends with individual knots.
