Tips & Warnings
Make sure your laundry detergent is safe to use on delicate fabrics and materials.
If these natural remedies don't do the trick, try using a pet odor neutralizer or enzymatic cleaner formulated specifically for pet urine. These cleaners can be found at most pet supply stores. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use.
Check the fabric or material first to make sure it can be machine-laundered on gentle. If it cannot, hand wash the soiled item in a basin of water using the same steps above.
Test a small, inconspicuous area of your carpet or upholstery before applying the hydrogen peroxide mixture. Hydrogen peroxide may damage or discolor the material.
