Find a pull-up bar that you can grab while still having you feet firmly on the ground.

while grabbing the pull-up bar with your hands shoulder width apart jump up so that your head is above your hands and the bar.

slowly lower yourself in a controlled manner. until your arms are almost fully extended. i wont give you a specific number of seconds that this should take. just remember that the slower you do it the harder it will be.

repeat this until you can no longer descend in a controlled manner. take a brake and do it again, I recommend doing three sets. Remember these wont help you do pull-ups overnight but they will defiantly set you on the right path.

keep at it! Roam wasn't built in a day and neither will your amazing pull-up skills!
lowering your body fat percentage will help you improve at this exercise.
do this exercise every other day, your back muscles need time to recover.
don't get discouraged if you cant do a lot at first.(lord knows i couldn't)
