Holiday ham makes any holiday a special holiday. Holiday ham is a great way to bring the family together for such a memorable occasion such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or even a wedding. If cooked properly, the ham will only take 1 hours and 45 minutes to be completed. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1 large whole ham
  • 1 stick of butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can pineapples, sliced
  • 1 deep, large aluminum pan
  • Aluminum foil

      Wash your ham thoroughly removing any access fat. Oil the ham with the stick of butter so that the entire ham in covered.

      Rub 1/2 cup of brown sugar on the entire ham.

      Take the pineapples and lay them across the ham. Use the toothpicks to keep the pineapples in place.

      Wrap the entire ham in aluminum foil, and then place the ham in the aluminum baking dish. Pour 1 cup of water in the pan.

      Cook the ham at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 45 minutes, constantly checking on the ham.

      Notice when the ham is done. Then take it out of the oven. Slice and serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may use the pineapple juice to pour over the slice of ham when ready to serve.
