How to Drown Out Loud Snoring
Snoring is quite common, according to NOVA feel. Approximately 20 percent of adults snore when they sleep. This noise can reach a volume of up to 70 decibels---the same as rush-hour traffic. If you share a bed or a room with someone who snores, or you can hear loud snoring from a nearby bedroom, you're probably having a hard time getting a good night's sleep. You can use some simple techniques to drown out loud snoring and get back to sleeping again.

Use a pair of earplugs that block out sounds around you. You can find these at drug stores. If you can't find a pair of earplugs that work, insomnia.net suggests asking your doctor.

Move to another room in the house and close all the doors in between. Get as far away from the loud snoring as you can to drown out the noise. If the snorer is upstairs, for example, move to a room downstairs to find peace and quiet.
