Things You'll Need:
- shea butter
- cocoa butter
- almond oil
- sweet essential oil (pick your own flavor)
- vitamin E oil
- small tin with lid to hold lip balm
-
Step 1
Gather all ingredients listed above. You will need a small tin with a lid. You can use a recycled one from lip balm you have used (wash it first, obviously) or you can get them at a craft store or online.
-
Step 2
Mix together 1 teaspoon EACH shea butter, cocoa butter, and almond oil. Add in a few drops of vitamin E oil and about 15 drops of your sweet essential oil. We used orange, but you can use any flavor you'd like.
-
Step 3
Let set in fridge over night. It softens a bit when it's been out of the fridge all day but if you like firm lip balm, you can always put it back in the fridge at night when you aren't using it.
-
Step 4
Add a label with a small round sticker. You can also add a bow if you are giving it as a gift. Pair it with a few other flavored lip balms, as well as some body scrubs, to make a gift basket.
