How to Make home style vegetable soup

What's for dinner. Home style vegetable soup.
Easy to make and you can make it in a slow cooker or in a large pot on your kitchen stove.
Here is a meal that is great for the cold months of winter or will make you feel better if you have a summer cold.
You can serve it hot or cold.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hamburger
  • Can tomato paste
  • Can tomatoes or fresh
  • Pack frozen vegetables
  • 2 Small potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • Salt & pepper
  1. Step 1

    Brown the hamburger in skillet.
    Peal and Dice the onion and potatoes

  2. Step 2

    In large pot or in the slow cooker, Add the Browned hamburger,
    tomatoes paste, tomatoes, frozen vegetables, potato and onions.

  3. Step 3

    Bring to boil and simmer for 3 hours or until the vegetables are soft.
    Add salt and pepper.

  4. Step 4

    This soup is very versatile. You can add other ingredient to flavor to your taste.
    You can also serve over a bed of rice or with your favorite crackers.
    Very nutritious and delicious.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use fresh tomatoes instead of ones in a can.
  • Allow to cool before you serve.
