So you want to make something from nature that might represent the winter? This is an idea that I got walking my dog today and I thought I would pass it along to others and see what they think about it.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • some pine cones
  • a big glass bowl
  • white spray paint
  • glitter
  • glue stick
  1. Step 1

Collect every item on my things you will need. Pine cones can be found on the ground during this time of the year so there is no cost for there. I suggest buying a nice deep glass bowl from a local dollar store and the other items needed might be there as well. It is worth the look this is a centerpiece and so I would not spend too much on it.

  2. Step 2

Take each and every pine cone and spray them with spray paint and let them air dry until you can touch them without the paint coming off.

  3. Step 3

Next after all the paint is completely dry take the glue stick and paste some on the sides of the pine cones but do this gently and try not to smear the paint that is already on them.

  4. Step 4

Add the glitter to each pine cone but do so over a paper bag or something that you can take the left over and put it back into the container the glitter came in. This save moneys as well as cleanup time of creating you winter centerpiece.

  5. Step 5

Arrange each pine cone in the way you would like them to look in the wide glass bowl. There you have it a cheap winter centerpiece for your table or anywhere to display in your home enjoy.
