During workouts, endorphins, natural pleasure chemicals, are produced in the brain, improving your mood. You can also take this as an opportunity to join a fitness class or a sports team, which can help provide you the social support you need.

Stay away from vices. This includes anything that is dangerous to your physical, emotional, or financial well-being. When people become depressed, many turn to overeating, drugs, alcohol, or gambling to help fill the void. Stay away from these things, because you will only fall into a pattern that will make things worse over time. When it comes to coming with teen depression, help yourself instead of hurting yourself.
