Things You'll Need:
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sherry
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard

Step 1
Combine shredded cheese, cream cheese, and sherryIn a large bowl, combine first 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 pkg of cream cheese, and 1/3 cup sherry. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until well blended.

Step 2
Add garlic powder, salt, white pepper and dry mustardAdd 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp ground white pepper, and 1/4 tsp dry mustard. Beat until thoroughly incorporated into the cheese mixture.

Step 3
Put in an airtight container and refrigerateTransfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend. Makes about 2 cups of spread. If you are giving as a gift, transfer it to a jar and decorate with a ribbon around the lid.
