Step 1
If Baby Oragel & Baby Tylenol just aren't enough then try a few of the following.
-
Step 2
Teething Rings- If your little teether hates frozen teething rings because it freezes their little hands then try and find the ones that have plastic/rubber grippies for them to hold on to. (I know you can find them at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Target for real cheap.)
-
Step 3
Frozen Binkies- Put a binkie in water & squeeze all the air out of the piece that goes into the mouth. Let it fill up with water then freeze. Once it is frozen give to your little teether & let them suck on it until it is melted.
-
Step 4
Popsicles- If frozen binkies don't work then try popsicles. True they may be a little messy but they love the flavor and help soothe the pain all at the same time.
-
Step 5
Frozen Clothes- If you're not to fond of the frozen binkies and/or binkies then try to wet a wash cloth and freeze it or stick an ice cube in the cloth and tie it up in the cloth. (Either one you choose will make a small mess.)
-
Step 6
Teething Blankets- Some people have never seen or heard of teething blankets but they are miracle workers. They don't need to be frozen and are mess free! (You can find them at Wal-mart, K-Mart, Target, & Babies R Us and they are fairly cheap [under $10].)
-
Step 7
Laffy Taffy, Twizzlers, or Tootsie Rolls- Chewy candies tend to work really well they are hard to bit off (especially when there are no teeth). Candy is a sticky mess but believe it or not your little one will chew until they can't chew anymore. They love the different flavors and can hold on to them their selves. (You will still need to keep a close eye on them to make sure they don't bit through it.)
-
Step 8
Steak or Pork Chops- If you are down for trying just about anything cook an unseasoned steak or pork chop, let it cool off, and them chew on it. (Be sure it is tough. Tough enough that you can't bite through it with too much ease.)
