The quest to find more features in every phone is on. The blackberry curve is missing something though when compared to other phones in its class. The cure can be maneuvered to allow you to set up more then one reminder that goes off with an audible alarm. It just takes trying the right setup for what suits your needs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start by taking note of the alarms. The icon that you have that is shaped like an alarm clock is good for one time use alarms and other temporary occurrences. To setup the one time alarm click the application button that is just to the left of the track ball. Navigate the screen using the track ball to highlight the alarm clock shaped icon. Now press down on the track ball once to click and select the icon. It will take you into a screen where you can set up an alarm for weekdays only and turn it off and on at. Just turn the alarm on and set a time. Next use the items below the line to setup the sounds the alarm will make when it goes off. The alarm also has a snooze option. Select a time for this field even if you don’t plan on using it. It will cause a screen to come up when your alarm goes off that either makes you turn the alarm off or push snooze on the alarm. The key is as long as you do neither and that screen stays up then your alarm will keep going off. This is good for those of you that like to wake up by cell phone slowly crawling out of bed. With no snooze the alarm sound will go off up to 3 times and then shut off.

  2. Step 2

The other way to set a reminder up on your phone is thorough the calendar. Although this is set up in a different way it still goes off to remind you and the alarm can be set as an audible alarm. Press the application key again to the left of the track ball. Find the icon that says calendar and that looks like a calendar and highlight it. Once highlighted then click the track ball. This will open your calendar and you can set up an appointment. You fill in the items like how long the time is. If it is a reminder of an event or to wake you up I usually set the time for 15 minutes.

  3. Step 3

Go ahead and select a start and end time of time of the reminder. Once you have the times filled in then move on to the reminder. You can set the reminder time as an interval such as remind me 15 minutes ahead of time. This is a great feature because you can play with the times to get the most use. You can also set the recurrence for those alarms that need to go off more then just once. Then click the application button to the left of the track ball again and scroll to save. Click it once and you have yourself a steady reminder.
