Get Rid of Leftover Halloween Candy

Now that all the ghosts, witches, goblins, and superheroes have gone away, what can you do with all that leftover Halloween candy? The last thing you want to do is to eat all those unhealthy snacks yourself. Here are some steps you can take to get rid of that Halloween candy.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing you can do, and probably the easiest, is to take it to your work. Lots of people have trouble getting through an entire day of work without wanting a little snack, and that mini candy bar may be just the trick to hold them over until they get home.

  2. Step 2

The second thing you can do is send them with your kids to school. The teacher can divy up the candy after lunch to all the well behaved children, and make sure they do not eat too much and become hyper. Be sure to let your child know that the candy is to share and to give it to the teacher so it can be handed out responsibly.

  3. Step 3

The last way to get rid of your leftover Halloween candy is to find a local charity to donate the candy. There was a drug store in my hometown that was actually buying back candy by the pound, and was collecting it to send to our troops. You could also take it somewhere like the Salvation Army so the needy can have a nice treat after they are fed.
