How to Make Candy Floral Arrangements
Candy floral arrangements are a clever and tasty alternative to a basic bouquet. They combine candy and fake/real flowers to ensure a beautiful gift that lasts more than a few days. Long after a normal flower arrangement would have died, you still have the delicious candy to enjoy. The best thing about creating a homemade candy floral arrangement, besides the low cost, is the project's simplicity. No matter how new you are to creating floral arrangements, it's hard to make a bouquet of candy look bad.
Things You'll Need
- 12 wire floral stems with leaves
- Floral tape
- 12 large individually wrapped hard candies
- Scissors
- Medium glass vase
- 50 medium individually wrapped hard candies
- 10 medium artificial yellow roses
- 3 large flower-shaped lollipops
- 2 small flower-shaped lollipops
- Ribbon
Instructions

1
Take a large hard candy and line it up with the top of a 12-inch-long floral stem. Wrap the floral tape around the bottom frill, or "handle," of the candy wrapper to secure it to the stem. Repeat process with remaining stems and large hard candies.
-
2
Toss the medium-sized, individually-wrapped hard candies into the glass vase to act as a filler to hold the candy and flower stems. Use as many or as few of the candies as needed to fit your vase 1/2 to 2/3 full.

3
Arrange the fake roses in a rounded shape in the vase, sticking the stems into the candy. The bouquet should look a little sparse since the flowers will only make up about half of the arrangement volume.
-
4
Add the three large lollipops to the arrangement, with one placed high and toward the middle and the two others placed slightly lower and toward the sides.
-
5
Use the candy-topped stems as filler for the bouquet, placing them where needed. Use the scissors to cut the wire stem and create different lengths.
-
6
Add two small lollipops toward the front and middle of the bouquet. Wrap the vase with ribbon and tie it in a bow.

Tips & Warnings
If you need extra filler materials, try using an assortment of lollipops or buy some individually wrapped cookies and glue them to lollipop sticks. You can also use individually wrapped candies other than "hard candies." Try chocolate-covered mints, fudge bites and mini-candy bars.
Steer clear of super-sticky treats, such as candy apples and taffy, when making your candy floral arrangement. Sticky treats can melt, causing a mess, and attract dirt, causing the sweet to become inedible.
