Universal Studios is one of the largest film and television production studios in Hollywood, with a decades-long list of successful films and other projects. The company has branched out with popular theme parks and resorts in Los Angeles, California, and Orlando, Florida. Sending a package to Universal can be done, depending on the package and if someone at the studio is expecting it. It is Universal Studios policy not to accept unsolicited creative materials such as screenplays, both for preventing lawsuits and for security concerns that come with unknown packages.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

    Sending a Package

  1. Step 1

Contact the person or department you are sending the package to, both to make sure they will be expecting it and to make sure you address it to the correct department and location.

  2. Step 2

Secure the contents of the package, seal the box and properly fill out the address label, being specific about the package's contents to avoid having it sent back.

  3. Step 3

Make sure you have the correct address--Universal's headquarters is at 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City CA 91608-1002. Addresses for the theme parks/resorts in Florida and California will have different addresses. Production studios that have films distributed by Universal will have their own as well.

  4. Step 4

Choose the company to ship your package. For example, use FedEx or UPS Next Day Air if it needs to arrive quickly.

  5. Step 5

Take the package to the shipper, and double check the address and other information before handing it over. Ask for tracking confirmation and hold onto the tracking slip to make sure it arrives at its destination.
