Instructions

      Prepare the fertilizer as instructed on the label. Geraniums do best with a 20-20-20 or 15-30-15 fertilizer.

      Firm the soil around your plant, being careful not to damage the roots.

      Apply the fertilizer to the soil around the roots. Try to stay away from any foliage.

      Water the plant. This will help push the fertilizer to the roots, as well as remove any excess from the foliage and flowers.

Tips & Warnings

  • Ensure the soil is well-aerated. Peat or other compost works well.

  • Ensure your plant receives a lot of sun.

  • While you don't want to overfertilize, geraniums are big feeders. For best results, re-apply once every week or two.
