Things You'll Need:
- Scissors
- Paper bag
- Tin pie plate
- Pen
- Quart jar with lid

Step 1
Snip seed pods from brown, dry vines. They are inside the remnants of the faded bloom. Place them in a paper bag.

Pour seed pods into tin a pie plate, spreading out so they can dry. Allow pods to dry indoors for one to two weeks.

Using your fingers, carefully open the seed pods and empty seeds into tin pie plate.

Step 4
Remove chafe remnants from seeds by tilting pie plate to one side, allowing seeds to gather.

Step 5
Return seeds to the paper bag. Label the outside of the bag with the contents and date.

Step 6
Store the bag inside a sealed jar in a cool, dry place free from humidity until ready to plant.
