- Images to upload for the sign

Step 1
Visit the Sign Generator Maker website (see references).

Follow the instructions on the website. Take a photo of yourself holding a blank piece of paper, cardboard, or poster board where the sign can be seen by the camera.

Upload your photo to an image-hosting website like Image Shack or Photobucket (see references). Resize the photograph so that it is smaller than 500 pixels wide. Locate the URL of the image and copy and paste it into the box on the site that says "Your Photo URL" and click "Submit."

Step 4
Go to the link provided in order to change the sign on your image. You can also send the link to friends and allow them to change the message on the sign.

Step 5
Save the message on the sign by printing out the image or by pressing Prt Sc or Print Screen on your keyboard, then pasting the image to an image-editing program. Crop the image and save it to your computer.
