      Check your drip irrigation kit to make sure it includes a filter, regulator, hose beginning, tubing, U-locks and ending clamp.

      Put together the faucet assembly. The faucet assembly consists of the filter, designed to remove sediment and other particles from the water, and a regulator, intended to maintain the correct water pressure. Connect the assembly to the hose bib or faucet.

      Connect the mainline tubing to the faucet assembly by attaching one end of the tubing to the female hose beginning. Tubing will send water from the faucet to the rest of your garden.

      Roll out the tubing through the areas of your garden that you intend to water. Use a U-lock every 5 to 10 feet to keep the tubing securely in place.

      Close off the mainline tubing using an end clamp. Roll the tubing back on itself to close off the water supply and then secure it with the end clamp.
