Instructions

1. Type "www.hotmail.com" into your Web browser's address bar and hit "Enter."

2. Look for the button that says "Sign Up" on the left side of the Hotmail homepage. Click on the button.

3. Type in the ID you would like to use for your Hotmail account. Click on "Check Availability" to ensure the ID is not already taken. If the ID is taken, choose a recommended one the they provide for you or think of your own. If the ID is not already taken, move on to the next step.

4. Choose a password that is difficult to guess. It is best to use a password that is completely different from passwords you have for other types of accounts. Choose a password that has both uppercase and lowercase letter as well as numbers and symbols.

5. Fill out the rest of the information on the form, including your name, birth date and location.

6. Read the Terms and Conditions and click on the "I Agree" button on the bottom of the form. You will automatically be transferred to your MSN Hotmail inbox.
