How to Customize iPod Nano Cases
Sure, putting your iPod Nano in a case is a smart way to protect it from damage. But using a case for the device can also be a fun way to express yourself. Customizing an iPod Nano case lets you show off who you are. By being creative and personalizing the case, you won't just be listening to music or watching videos on the iPod Nano, you'll be listening to music in style--your style.

Instructions

1
Buy a standard iPod Nano case from an online retailer or an electronics store. The color of the case will be the base for your design, so choose accordingly.
-
2
Be sure to remove the iPod Nano from its case before you apply any paint, glue or other decorations to it.

-
3
Find and apply to the case stickers that represent your personality and interests. For example, since you're most likely going to be listening to a lot of music on the iPod Nano, a sticker of your favorite band's logo would be appropriate. Optionally, purchase letter stickers and spell out your name on the case with them. Larger stickers you should put on the back of the case so they don't interfere with the iPod's screen or controls.
-
4
Use puffy paint to write your name or words or phrases that define you or to draw designs on the iPod Nano case. Let the puffy paint dry completely before doing more work on the case; drying usually takes a day or two (see Reference 1).
-
5
Use craft glue to attach beads, sequins or glitter to the iPod Nano case. Let the glue dry completely before working further on the case.
-
6
Use craft glue to attach a small photograph of friends or loved ones to the case, if you have room.

Tips & Warnings
Plan the entire design before applying anything to the iPod case. Once you've attached a decoration to the case with some kind of adhesive, it can be hard to remove.
Do not cover the area where the iPod Nano screen will be with any design that will block the screen.
Don't put too much glitter on the case. Glitter can easily rub off on anything the case touches.
