Tips & Warnings
It is first advisable to configure your Internet camera from a wired computer that is attached to a wireless router. To view your camera's footage through the web use what is known as port forwarding. Select Virtual Server then type a name for your camera, choose the protocol TCP and the port 8080, type in the local IP address for the camera and save. This will give you your camera's external IP address and allow you to view your camera's footage away from home simply by logging in and entering your password.
Your external IP address could easily change with time. If it does change you will not be able to connect to your camera over the web. To avoid this, you should get a DNS or Domain Name System.
