      Place the pumpkin seeds into the strainer.

      Rinse the pumpkin seeds under cold running water for about 30 seconds to ensure that you have thoroughly rinsed all of the seeds.

      Pour about 4 cups of cold water into a bowl.

      Add 1/2 cup of sea salt into the bowl.

      Put the pumpkin seeds into the bowl.

      Let the pumpkin seeds soak overnight. They should soak for roughly 8 to 12 hours.
