Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a vase that did not come clean with dishwashing liquid, try filling with water and adding effervescent denture tablets. Follow the tablet directions, then wash and rinse.

  • Remember when picking up your stemware, lift at the heaviest part , not the stem. This will ensure less breakage.

  • Wash each item separately, so as not to chip or scratch the glassware.

  • When displaying colored pieces, avoid direct sunlight, which can cause the color to fade.

  • If you are displaying a plate or platter, avoid spring tension plate stands. They can cause stress, which can lead to cracks or breakage.

  • Never put your hand down into a vase. This could cause the vase to shatter and cut you.
