Perfumed diffusers are an efficient method used to spread a fresh scent around any space. A small vase and long reed sticks are nearly all that is necessary to create an expensive look for less. Switching scents often will bring new life to a room and can be done in just a few short minutes. Perfumed diffusers make excellent special-occasion gifts for people of all ages.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small Vase
  • Water
  • Soap
  • Kitchen towel
  • Reed sticks
  • Garden sheers
  • Perfume or scented oil
  • Small funnel

    Instructions

  1. Step 1

Clean vase with warm water and soap. Remove all debris and dust from the vase and rinse well to wash away all traces of soap. Dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel and set the vase aside.

  2. Step 2

Use the garden sheers to cut one dozen reed sticks to size. The reed sticks should be twice the length of the vase to ensure that the perfume will diffuse properly.

  3. Step 3

Use the small funnel to pour perfume or scented oil into the vase. Fill the vase half to three quarters full and remove the funnel. Insert all of the reed sticks into the vase, and place the vase into the desired location.

  4. Step 4

Check the perfume or scented oil levels weekly and use the funnel to refill as necessary.

Tips & Warnings
  • When using a new scent of perfume or oil place new reed sticks into the vase.
  • Keep the perfumed diffuser out of reach of small children and pets.
