How to Get Rid of Jock Itch Odor
Bacteria can acculate in high moisture areas on the body. These bacteria produce foul odors, especially in areas with high sweat content. This bacteria can cause a condition known as jock itch when it irritates the skin around the male genitalia. Foul odor is usually present with this condition. There are methods available to help reduce or eliminate the offending smell. Because of the sensitive area affected, use caution when applying common household agents to treat jock itch odor.

1
Drink plenty of water. This will help flush your body of toxins that can cause odor to be excreted through the skin.
-
2
Wear loose fitting clothes and moisture resistant fabrics that will keep sweat away from the skin, keeping you dry and reducing body odor.

-
3
Add two eight oz glasses of tomato juice to your bath water and soak for at least fifteen minutes.
-
4
Sprinkle baking soda on a clean dry cotton cloth and blot your jock area with the cloth. Baking soda will help absorb foul odors.

5
Add wheat grass to your diet. Drinking 500 mg diluted in a glass of water will help to reduce body odor from the inside out. Consume the wheat grass before your first meal of the day.

6
Dilute 3 table spoons of white vinegar in one cup of water and dampen a clean sponge with the solution. Wipe down the odor affected area with this solution. The vinegar will help to eliminate body odors but may leave you with another smell. The vinegar odor should fade over time.
