How to Get Deeper, Brighter, Higher pigmented eyeshadow

Without this technique, I would be lost. Usually powdered eyeshadows look really bright and drastic, but appear on your eyeshadow as chalky or dim. Here's a growing technique that'll achieve colorful shadow.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First, Find an eyeshadow you would like to wear as a deeper or brighter color. Usually mineral shadows work best for this, but you can used pressed powdered ones as well. Now, some eyeshadows won't work at all, and if this happens, just try with a different color to get the hang of this.

  2. Step 2

Take your eye shadow brush and wet it. Wipe off any dripping water so that the brush isn't soaking, but very damp. Rub brush into eye shadow to turn the shadow into a moist paste. It may take a little more rubbing with compressed powdered eyeshadows.

  3. Step 3

Apply to your eyes like you would dry shadow. This is a 'wet' eyeshadow technique, also called 'foiling' by bare minerals. But be cautious as the eyeshadow is a lot less blended, you'll have to blend it yourself. And another thing; it gets a lot messier since its wet, so watch out for that too.
