Step 1
Log on to your Yahoo Mail and click the "edit photos" link found on the lower left corner of your inbox. Follow the instructions in giving Picnik the permission to access your Yahoo Mail. Once you gave permission for the website to gain access, a new Picnik window will appear on your inbox. Start the process from there.
-
Step 2
Point your mouse on the "collage" link. A drop down menu appears. Click "fancy collage."
-
Step 3
Upload photos by clicking on the "get from computer" button. Choose the source (e.g. Picasa, Flickr, Myspace, etc.). If you want to upload photos from your computer, just click the "upload photos" button. With this example, I uploaded photos from my PC.
-
Step 4
Choose the design of collage you want to use by clicking a design's category. Note: You cannot use the designs labeled with "premium" except if you are a paying member of Picnik. The types of collage that are free are: Valentine's Day Pack 1, Winter Holidays, Heritage, and Brag Book. In my example, I used the Brag Book category.
-
Step 5
Fill the blank space/s with the picture/s you uploaded. You can either use "auto-fill" or you can drag and drop each photo. Click "shuffle" if you want to rearrange the pictures. You can also do it manually. Click "customize" for the next process.
-
Step 6
Click "create" to add effects and other features like frames, text, stickers, etc.. My example uses the "text" feature. Just click any type of effects you want to enhance your photo. When done, click the "save & share" button.
-
Step 7
Type a filename for your picture and click "save." Choose which folder in your PC's hard drive you want to save your file. You can also share your edited pictures in your networking profiles on Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket, and Flickr. How? I will show you in another article.
