The Snuggie is as popular this winter as ever. If you wanted to make your own choosing a color, length and style there is a pattern available online.

Things You'll Need:

  • Yarn
  • Instructions (see below)
  • Crochet Hook
  1. Step 1

    A Snuggie is a popular blanket with sleeves and is crocheted somewhat like a blanket or a sweater. It is an ideal crochet pattern for gifts and family. It requires inexpensive yarn in the color of your choice and the pattern provided by the manufacturer.

  2. Step 2

    Purchase yarn in the color of your choice and make sure you have the correct crochet hook size for your pattern.

    Once you have the pattern follow the instructions to create the snuggie for a child, adult, or tall adult.

    To view the pattern you will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer which if available for free.

  3. Step 3

    You can crochet your own snuggie by using the free pattern provided on the Coats and Clark web site. They have labeled it an easy project in the terms of skill level and is available to crochet in childrens sizes, adult sizes, and a larger size. If you know your way around a crochet hook and a skein a yarn than this should be a fairly quick and easy project for you to make. You may even be able to crochet one in a weekend!

    You can even make them in your favorite football, baseball, kids or adult colors!
