Especially around the holidays, these disposable items are eye catching with their warm holiday greetings printed on them. I started to save the cardboard rings and thought about what I could reuse them for. Starbucks Coffee Cozies
Ribbons
Glitter and Glue
Card Stock

Step 1

First step is to remember to save these coffee cozies after you are done with your morning cup of Starbucks coffee. After you start to accumulate them, you'll be able to sit down, embellish them and turn them into homemade gift tags.
Step 2

Each coffee cozie ring is glued into a circle. Gently pull apart the circle and lay the entire ring flat.

Cut out the part of the cardboard that has the printed greeting on it. For example, this one for the holiday season says "Make Your Spirits Bright. Wish." .

Now, adhere it to the card stock that you purchased. Embellish your homemade gift tags with glitter by running beads and dots of glue on the card stock as well as the portion of coffee cozie, sprinkle with glitter, and allow to dry overnight.
