If you check the label of your clothing, you'll see that many of them are made from some sort of cotton/polyester blend.   • Pre-wash stain remover
  • Water
  • Laundry detergent

  1. Removing Chocolate Stains from Clothing

      Scrape off the excess chocolate from the affected area by using a butter knife or plastic knife.

      Blot the area with a pre-wash stain remover. If you don't have any stain remover on hand, you can make your own by mixing a cup of warm water with 1 tbsp. laundry detergent.

      Rub the fabric together in the stained area and allow the pre-wash treatment to set in for five to 10 minutes.

      Wash the clothing in an enzyme-containing detergent such as Surf, Tide or Arm and Hammer. Use cool or warm water, as hot water can shrink some items made out of cotton and polyester.

      Check the stain after washing to see if it's gone. If not, wash it again using a chlorine bleach for whites or a color-safe bleach for colored fabric.
