How to Cover Chairs With Tulle
Tulle is a lightweight fabric that is woven into a fine netting. Since it's so flexible, you can use it to create decorations for formal events such as a wedding reception, anniversary party or prom dance. You can use tulle almost anywhere in your party decor. 1
Place the tulle over your chair and cut enough of the fabric so that it conceals the entire chair and drapes down to the floor. Allow for extra fabric in front of the chair for the seat. Cut the fabric.
-
2
Push the tulle into the seat to shape the area where your guest will sit.

3
Pull the tulle toward the back of the chair and use safety pins to hold the shape of the chair. Pins will prevent the tulle from tearing or falling off when your guest sits down.
-
4
Cut a piece of tulle in a contrasting color that measures 53 inches long and is at least nine inches wide. Place the fabric around the front center of your chair, pull it tightly toward the back and make a bow. Fluff out the loops of the bow so that they are even.

5
Enhance your chair decoration with small floral bouquets. Tuck the flowers into the center of the bow and secure with wire.
