Instructions

    • 1

Clean the window where you want to stencil on spray snow before you begin your decorating project.

    • 2

Choose the designs you would like to put on your window using spray snow stencils.

    • 3

Print out the Christmas stencil sized to your preferences, using regular printer paper if you will only use the stencil one or two times, but using cardstock or plastic film if you intend to reuse the stencil multiple times.

    • 4

Place the stencil paper on a piece of wood, cardboard or foam board and tape down the edges.

    • 5

Cut out each Christmas stencil using a small craft knife.

    • 6

Remove the stencil from the cutting surface and place it on the window where you would like to use your spray snow stencils. Tape the stencil to the window.

    • 7

Shake the can of aerosol spray snow and test on a piece of paper to make sure that the snow is coming out in the proper consistency.

    • 8

Hold the can of spray snow 12 to 18 inches from the window where you want to spray snow stencils, then spray the snow evenly onto the Christmas stencils taped to the window, aiming directly at the stencil and allowing the spray snow to spray all the way to the edges of the design and onto the stencil itself.

    • 9

Apply an even coat of spray over the entire stencil.

    • 10

Wait a few minutes, then remove the Christmas stencils carefully and allow the spray snow to dry fully before using the stencils again.

Tips & Warnings

  • Turn the can of spray snow upside down and depress nozzle for a few seconds to clean the nozzle and prevent clogging.

  • Unclog the spray tip on the can of spray snow if needed by removing it and soaking in warm water for a few minutes. Then return it to the nozzle and test on a sheet of paper.

  • Be careful using aerosol spray snow. All aerosol products contain pressurized material and are highly flammable, so keep spray snow away from heat sources.
