Getting water in your ears can be painful. This can easily happen when you go swimming, take a bath, or do any activity involving water.       Dip the Q-tip into rubbing alcohol or peroxide. Tilt your head so the clogged ear is facing upwards.

      Gently rotate the Q-tip in circular motion in the clogged ear two to three times. Quickly toss your head so the clogged ear faces the ground.

      Shake your head and repeat the process until all the water is drained from your ear.
