Pimples can occur anywhere on the body, including the posterior. When there are acne breakouts on the butt, it can be painful to sit for long periods of time. The blemishes themselves can become large and infected. It is important to treat butt pimples as soon as possible to prevent them from becoming worse. To treat pimples on the backside, it is necessary to clean, medicate, and hydrate the skin.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Soap for sensitive skin
  • Benzoyl peroxide cream, 2.5%
  • Oil-free lotion for sensitive skin
  1. Step 1

Cleanse the backside with a soap designed for sensitive skin types. It will cleanse your skin completely without causing any irritation or inflammation. Wet the skin on your butt, then lather your hands well with the soap. Apply the lather to the effected area and spread it around. Rinse off the soap using warm water. Cleanse like that twice a day.

  2. Step 2

Medicate your backside with a low-concentration benzoyl peroxide cream. Benzoyl peroxide dries up the active acne blemishes and kills off acne-causing bacteria. There are a few different strengths you can purchased from drug or grocery stores, including 2.5%, 5%, and 10%. The higher strength creams can burn your skin and cause severe irritation and peeling. Use only the lowest strength to medicate the acne without damaging the tender skin on your butt. Squeeze a dime-sized amount onto your hands, then spread it around the affected area. Avoid getting the cream on your genital area. Let the cream absorb into the skin. Apply the benzoyl peroxide cream twice a day after cleansing.

  3. Step 3

Moisturize your backside with an oil-free lotion designed for sensitive skin types. If benzoyl peroxide cream is used by itself, it can cause the skin to become too dried out. An oil-free lotion will hydrate the skin without clogging the pores. Smooth a nickel-sized amount onto the area where the benzoyl peroxide cream was applied. Use a gentle touch, carefully massaging the cream until it has been absorbed by the skin. Moisturize twice a day after applying the benzoyl peroxide cream.
