1. Compare yourself to the current models. Can you realistically see yourself standing next to them? Ask your friends and family their opinions as they are the most likely to give you an honest opinion.

2. Know what it takes to become a professional model. Search the web for information on becoming a model and the requirements normally expected of professional models. There are countless articles on how to make it in the modeling industry available on the internet.

3. If you still think you have a chance, put together a portfolio of self portraits. Make sure to include pictures that's show your body as A&F shoots are known for showing a little skin. You can include a variety of photos just don't include pictures of you skiing in aspen with a snow mobile suit on.

4. Mail your photo to the company. The address can be found on Abercrombie's official website in the "models" section.

5. Don't hold your breath. Thousands of people apply in hopes of becoming Abercrombie models every year. If they contact you, great, but don't spend your free time waiting by the phone. There are plenty of other modeling opportunities out there you could be pursuing in the mean time.
