Things You'll Need:
- Internet connection
- ability to purchase the life insurance
-
Step 1
You can start by checking out Google for life insurance. There are so many to choose from, so what it's going to take is much research, don't just jump in and purchase the first policy you come across. Make sure you look to see what restrictions each company may have, some companies penalize for being overweight, others for pre-existing conditions. Make sure that the company you choose will insure you, even if you have pre-existing illness/injuries you can find some company that will insure you.
-
Step 2
Make sure that you disclose all past and present illness/injuries, if you don't disclose it, after your gone it will be uncovered, and your beneficiary will not be paid if you weren't honest. Like I mentioned before, there are companies will that insure you regardless of your history. So, it pays to be honest.
-
Step 3
You can purchase more than one policy, if there is more than one company that interests you, get a second policy if you want. Make sure that you can afford both policies
-
Step 4
depending on which company you choose, they may have a nurse come out and check your blood pressure, weight, and take a blood sample. If you don't want to go through this, you may want to choose a company that insures you based on your word. I have found in my research, that companies that insist on checking you out first, will usually insure you for more, just food for thought.
