The NCLEX PN exam is an exam that licensed practical nurses must take in order to practice in every state. Passing the exam allows the nurse to practice medicine.    Make sure that you have all textbooks and notes. Textbooks are invaluable in learning the material that you need to know to become an LPN or licensed practical nurse. Keep all copies of notes as well as copies of texts and handouts in an easy to reach place as you prepare for the NCLEX-PN exam.

   Get a copy of the exam. In order to study for the exam properly you should have a copy of it on hand. The copy should contain all materials necessary to understand the exam. Make sure the exam is authentic and represents past tests. You should be able to purchase a copy for a small sum. Many books contain copies of the exam to help you prepare to become a better LPN.

4. Form a study group with your peers. Your fellow LPN's can help you study for the NCLEX PN exam. They may have information that you are not aware of. Set aside a specific date and time each week to help you study for the exam. Pick a library or someone's house.
