Severe HeadacheLEARN SIGNS:
*Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
*Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
*Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
*Sudden, severe headache with no known cause -

Dial 911DIAL 911:
If you are having any of these signs dial 9-1-1, alert them to how you are feeling so they can send an ambulance with a trained professional. Check the time when the first symptom started so you can let them know. -
Step 3
Ask them to smileACT F.A.S.T.
It's important to know the Act F.A.S.T. test if you think someone might be having a stroke. According to National Stroke Association, "F = FACE Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop? A = ARM Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward? S = SPEECH Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Does the speech sound slurred or strange? T = TIME If you observe any of these signs, it’s time to call 9-1-1."
Knowing these things to do can reduce the impact a stroke. Educate yourself, and spread the awareness to others. A life might be depending on it.
