Things You'll Need:
- One or more mouse pads
- Scissors
- Velcro (optional)
- Glue (optional)
- Paint (optional)
-
Step 1
If you have 2 mouse pads use them as knee pads in the garden. Place them under your knees when you are working outside or sew them directly onto the knees of your garden pants.
-
Step 2
Use the foam type mouse pads as a trivet/hot pad in the kitchen. Place one on the kitchen counter and use it under hot pans, to protect your counters.
-
Step 3
Cut up a mouse pad in small enough pieces to fit under legs of your chairs and other furniture, to prevent scraping up wood and tile floors.
-
Step 4
Silence and protect your cabinet doors by cutting small pieces of a mouse pad and glue them to the outer corners of your cabinet doors.
-
Step 5
Cut a mouse pad into square or round shapes and use them as coasters under drinks.
-
Step 6
Cut a mouse pad into a strip, set it in front of your computer keyboard and use it as a wrist rest.
-
Step 7
Place a mouse pad under a planter to protect your floors.
-
Step 8
Prevent chair cushions from slipping by placing strips of a mouse pad under the cushion.
-
Step 9
Get crafty and cut a mouse pad into shapes using a stencil. Glue a smaller piece to the middle for a handle and then dip the shape in paint and stamp the walls or whatever your heart desires.
-
Step 10
Prevent items from slipping off the dashboard of your car by velcroing a mouse pad upside down to the dashboard of your car. The rubber bottom will hold grip your item in place.
