Save Money at American Eagle Outfitters

American Eagle Outfitters is a clothing retailer that sells juniors clothing and young adult clothing. Their prices can be a bit high at times though. Luckily I have found a few tricks to save money at American Eagle that really adds up fast!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • American Eagle Visa Credit Card
  • American Eagle All Access Pass
  1. Step 1

First thing is you want to sign up for an American Eagle Outfitters Visa Credit Card. I know a lot of people hate using credit cards, but it is definately worth signing up for this credit card for use only at AE! Everytime you spend $300 in store or online at AE you will receive a $10 gift card in the mail.

  2. Step 2

Sign up for an American Eagle Outfitters All Access Pass. Everytime you buy clothing in store or online, you present your number and you will be credited points based on what kinds of items you purchase. Every 3 months AE will mail out coupons to your home that have a discount amount on them. The discount is based on how many points you accumulated during the 3 month period. The coupons range from 10% to 40%. I always get the 40% coupons when I spend approximately $150 there in 3 months. You are then allowed to use the coupons on clearance merchandise, sale merchandise, and regular merchandise.

  3. Step 3

Sign up for AE's e-mails and text messages. They normally send a few great offers every week or two for things like save $10 on a pair of jeans or save 20% on your order.

Tips & Warnings
  • Always shop the clearance racks first. You save a ton of money this way!
  • If any of your friends work at AE you can probably have them buy you clothes at the 40% discount all the time.
  • If you don't receive your discount coupon in the mail when you are supposed to, call the 1-800 number for AE and they will take care of it for you!
