How to Block Certain Websites in Internet Expolorer

When browsing the Internet, you may at times happen upon websites that are inappropriate. These may be websites you located in a search, or may even be pop-up windows. In the worst case scenario, the website could depict highly offensive material that your child mistakenly opens, or that you open inadvertently while at the work.

Regardless of who opened the site, its content is inappropriate. The only logical course is to restrict access to such websites in Internet Explorer.

      Open Internet Options under Network and Internet Connections inside your control panel. You should see a "Content" tab; click it.

      Select "Content Advisor." Now select the content within the list box that you want to restrict from being viewed on your computer. Select "Apply."

      Password-restrict the Content Advisor by checking the box that states users need a supervisor password. Select "Apply" and "OK."
