Exfoliate regularly. Sloughing off old surface cells may make reduce the depth of lines and clear large pores oil and debris. Get a microdermabrasion or skin peel treatment from a licensed dermatologist or esthetician. These high-octane skin treatments provide deep exfoliation that leaves skin completely fresh and smooth. Train yourself to minimize facial movements that cause wrinkles in the first place. Continued worry increases the chance that you'll get wrinkles. Laurie Drake of Prevention Magazine says, "Cortisol triggers an elevation in blood sugar, which--via a process called glycation--damages collagen and elastin, the protein fibers that plump skin and keep it smooth." Handle stress better to reduce cortisol production and decrease wrinkles.
